Prior to setting the fibers on the tool, the fibers should be cleaned up by isopropyl alcohol and lint-free wipe.
Cleaning up the gel on the fibers thoroughly helps fibers bond easily when the adhesive is applied to the fibers.
Color code for Loose Tube (TIA-598)
According to the color code on the holding clip, place the fibers into the ribbonizing clamp sheet with the standard color order.
Open the holding clip and gently slide back and forth couple of times to arrange the fibers. And close the holding clip and the cover.
Repeat this procedure several times until the fibers are arranged perfectly on the groove.
Apply the adhesive glue on the fibers and wait until the glue is dry.
Make sure the fibers remain in the proper order during this step.
After ribbonized fibers are glue firmly, then place the glued fibers back inside the holder to be clamped tight during the stripping process. Otherwise, the ribbonized fibers may be separated after stripping. And this will make one more ribbonizing process.
Place the non-ribbonization holder onto the thermal stripper of KR12A. Cleave the stripped fiber and place the holder on the fusion splicer. Place the pre-cleaved MPO on the R5 and fusion splice the ribbonized fibers and MPO SOC.
